PROJECT NAME: CITY HALL PARKING LOT

LOCATION OF PROJECT:
The project is located within the City Limits of Umatilla, east of S.R. 19 at the northeast corner of Cassady Street and Budd Avenue.

SCOPE OF WORK:
The project generally involves the demolition and construction of an asphalt parking lot, curbing along adjacent streets, ADA sidewalks, storm water retention and pavement markings and signage.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
The work includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment, necessary to provide the work detailed within the Construction Plans for City Hall Parking Lot.~ All bidders must provide bids on the following: the complete project with asphalt parking, alternate for concrete parking, and alternate for removing and replacing the south asphalt drive at fire station.~ Project will include sodding all disturbed areas.~ Landscape and irrigation will be bid separately.

MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE:
There will not be a mandatory pre-bid conference for this project.

RECEIPT OF BIDS:
Sealed bids for the work described herein shall be received until Friday, December 5, 2014, @ 10:00 a.m. at the City of Umatilla, 1 S. Central Avenue, Umatilla, Florida, 32784. Bids WILL be opened and read aloud.~ ALL BIDS WHETHER HAND DELIVERED OR MAILED MUST BE AT THE OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK, CITY OF UMATILLA CITY HALL BEFORE THE ABOVE STATED DEADLINE TO BE CONSIDERED. CONTRACTORS ARE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT TWO (2) COPIES OF THE BID (ONE ORIGINAL AND ONE COPY).

INFORMATION REGARDING BIDDING MATERIAL, ETC:
Complete plans and specifications may be reviewed and purchased through Romine Reprographics, 535 Cooper Commerce Drive, Suite 340, Apopka, Florida 32703, phone (407)464-1700, www.rominereprographics.com, and obtained electronically for a non-refundable $18.75 fee or paper copy for a non-refundable $25.00 fee.  These plans and specifications will be available on Friday, November 21, 2014.

CRA ADVISORY BOARD AND CRA BOARD MEETING:
Selection of work and contractor will be considered at CRA Advisory Board and CRA Board Meetings to be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2014, @ 7:00 p.m. at City of Umatilla City Hall.

CITY COUNCIL MEETING:
To be held immediately following CRA Advisory Board and CRA Board Meetings.
