FDOT PROJECT: State Road (S.R.) 19 (Central Avenue) from C.R. 450A to Bulldog Way / Olde Mill Stream RV Resort
A public meeting for a corridor planning study that involves a 2.02-mile section along State Road (S.R.) 19 (Central Avenue) from County Road (C.R.) 450-A to Bulldog Way / Olde Mill Stream RV Resort in Umatilla, Florida. The study involves a community-based evaluation to determine how to best meet the needs of current and future users, and seeks to identify short- and long-term improvements along the corridor to ensure a balance between land use and transportation. It also considers Healthy Community Design practices to encourage active transportation and physical activity in the community. The purpose of this public meeting is to explain the project goals and objectives, and present the final alternative.
The public information meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at the Umatilla City Hall at 1 South Central Avenue, Umatilla, Florida 32784. It begins with an open house at 5:30 p.m., followed by a live presentation at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will conclude at 7:30 p.m. Study team members will be available to discuss the study and to answer any questions you may have. Participants may provide public comment at any time, and written comments may also be submitted during the meeting or by mail.
