Duties & Responsibilities

The Umatilla Police Retirement Board of Trustees is comprised of five (5) members:  two Police Officers elected by the active police officers; two (2) residents of the City of Umatilla appointed by the Umatilla City Council; and one (1) “Fifth” member who has no residency requirement and chosen by the other four members of the Board and for whom the City Council confirms the appointment.

The purpose of this board is to provide administration and fiduciary responsibility to the Chapter 185 Retirement Plan and by exercising prudent judgment in the oversight and administration of the Trust Fund.

Terms of appointment are for two years.
