Public Works Director – Umatilla, FL
City of Umatilla is currently accepting applications for the position of Public Works Director.
The Public Works Director performs complex professional and administrative work planning, organizing and directing engineering, street maintenance, potable water systems, stormwater systems, sanitary sewer collection and treatment, facility and grounds maintenance. Work is performed under the general supervision of the City Manager.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in municipal utilities management or supervision is required. A college degree is preferred but not required. Experience with and a thorough understanding of GIS is a plus. Salary and benefits range is $55,000 to $75,000 annually depending on qualifications.
