2024 Election

Qualifying Begins: June 10, 2024 at 12:00 NOON

Qualifying Ends: June 14, 2024 at 12:00 NOON

• Elections will take place for the following seats: Council Member seat 1, Council Member seat 2, and Council Member seat 3
• Terms beginning in November 2024 will expire in November 2028

Candidate Requirements

• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age
• A registered voter of the City of Umatilla 
• A continuous resident for at least one (1) year prior to the date of the election

2024 Candidates

Nonpartisan Elections

All elections for the office of City Council shall qualify with the City Clerk during the qualification period. 

Qualifying

Candidates for elected office shall qualify with the Office of the City Clerk in the manner established by ordinance consistent with the laws of the State of Florida.  In order to qualify, a candidate shall file forms adopted by the City Council for that purpose.
